New Orleans, Scanned and Described

I posted all of my sketches from New Orleans using my phone, which means some of the images were cut off when they posted, and all of them were dark, so here they are scanned. And described.
(Click images to see them better.)

First sketch and first oysters of the trip at Felix's.
Cute band and Pimm's Cups at The 21st Amendment bar. We toasted the 21st Amendment for the rest of the trip.

Late beignet snack after a late dinner. My first ever time at Cafe du Monde.

French Quarter Fest - sketch inspired by Jim Richards because I knew he and Patti were also in New Orleans.

One of the best things I've ever eaten in my life. Bourbon barbecue shrimp po-boy from a Dickie Brennan's stand at the French Quarter Fest.

I was really there!

Sketched a riverboat. Those drinks are in the future - I did that sketch the next day.

My sister and I made a new friend!

And met old friends! There's Jim and Patti - we joined them for more oysters at Felix's.

Obligatory New Orleans Sunday brunch photo!

Sazerac Bar and Maspero's

The Cathedral. Then Monday at Dr. Bob's.

Before heading home Monday ate at Elizabeth's in the Bywater.

Sketched this from Crescent Park.
Goodbye New Orleans! I love you!
